Skyline Robotics Closes $9.8M Pre-Series A-2 Funding

Skyline Robotics, a NYC-based developer of Ozmo, a robotic-armed window cleaning robot, raised $9.8M in Pre-Series A-2 funding.

The round, which brought the total amount to $19.4M, was led by Standard Skyline with participation from Durst Ventures, the venture capital investment arm of the Durst Organization, and HNW individuals.

The company intends to use the funds to support Ozmo’s expansion into NYC and London, grow the R&D team to bolster Ozmo’s service offerings, and formalize new construction line of business.

Led by CEO Michael Brown, Skyline Robotics is a tech robotics and automation company. Its flagship product, Ozmo, a window cleaning robot, is in the $40B window cleaning industry as an alternative to humans. Ozmo combines artificial intelligence, machine learning and computer vision with advanced robotics and sensors.

The company recently announced a partnership with Principle Cleaning Services to bring Ozmo window-cleaning robots to the London skyline. Skyline has also secured key patents from Japan and Singapore as it aims to bring the robot to cities and skyscrapers across the world.
