Quantas Labs Raises $550K in Seed Funding

Quntas Labs

Quntas Labs, a London, UK-based commercial AI erosion impact prediction company, raised $550K in Seed funding.

The saw participation from Faisal Al-Rajhi and other undisclosed investors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand adoption of its erosion solutions for sustainable land management.

Led by CEO Alex Pourquery, Quantas Labs is committed to serving a range of beneficiaries, from local governments and environmentalists to agricultural and construction sectors. Its proprietary technology is built on a hybrid AI framework, combining multi-layered convolutional neural network (CNN) architecture with recurrent neural network (RNN) components. This integration enables the processing of intricate geospatial datasets and temporal data sequences, facilitating accurate and dynamic erosion predictions.

Its approach includes:

  • Real-Time Data Integration: Leveraging API-driven real-time climatic data for responsive erosion forecasting.
  • Advanced Soil Type Classification: Utilizing hyperspectral imaging to differentiate soil types crucial for erosion assessments.
  • Robust Data Handling: Implementing data augmentation and semi-supervised learning models to overcome the challenge of data sparsity, especially in remote areas.
