GameTree, an American and Ukrainian gaming community startup, raised $1.7M in funding.
Backers included Corazon Capital, Full Stack Ventures, Goodwater Capital, 32-Bit Ventures and Expert Dojo.
The company intends to use the funds to develop new features to its platform.
Led by CEO Dana Sydorenko, and Co-founder John Uke, GameTree GameTree is a free LFG app for finding gamer friends, getting personal game recommendations, and coordinating gameplay sessions with non-toxic people. The platform currently has 600k users and supports 200k games across all platforms, including board and tabletop gaming.
The company plans to incorporate a desktop app featuring overlay game technology and launch dynamic social feeds and chat features.
