Digital Wildcatters Raises $2.5M in Funding

Digital Wildcatters, a Houston, TX-based provider of a community platform for energy professionals, raised $2.5M in funding.

The round was led by Chuck Yates with participation from Diamondback Energy, ProFrac and other angel investors.

This funding followed a $2M seed round raised from angel investors in 2021.

The company intends to use the funds to further develop and commercialize ‘Collide,’ their professional networking app.

Led by CEO Collin McLelland, Digital Wildcatters provides a community for energy professionals to stay concentrated on trends, expand their networks, and advance their careers in the energy industry.

Collide encompasses three core features: a professional network for energy professionals to share information and build connections, ‘Collide Jobs’ for companies to discover qualified talent, and ‘Collide Pro,’ an AI-driven content search engine that provides streamlined access to industry information.
