Wraithwatch Raises $8M in Seed Funding

Wraithwatch, a Bozeman, MT-based cyber defense company, raised $8M in Seed funding.

The round was led by Founders Fund with participation from XYZ Capital and Human Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Founded by CEO Nik Seetharaman, President Grace Clemente and CTO Carlos Más, Wraithwatch aims to build the next generation of cyber defense for the United States and its allies. Their vision as a founding team is the result of years building cyber programs at the most advanced tech companies in the world, helping secure rockets, astronauts, mission control and launch infrastructure, submarines, satellites, weapons systems, and other classified programs against sophisticated cyber adversaries.

Nik Seetharaman, Co-founder & CEO
Nik Seetharaman is CEO and co-founder of Wraithwatch, the company combatting AI-powered cyber weaponry. Prior, Seetharaman was CIO and CISO at Anduril Industries where he built the company’s cybersecurity and weapons system security programs from the ground up as Anduril’s first security engineer. Prior to Anduril, Seetharaman led cybersecurity operations at SpaceX and Palantir, and served as a tactical cyber warfare operator at Joint Special Operations Command, where he conducted advanced cyber and close range reconnaissance operations through the Naval Special Warfare Development Group.

Grace Clemente, Co-founder & President
Grace Clemente is President and co-founder of Wraithwatch, the company combatting AI-powered cyber weaponry. Prior, Clemente spent 6 years at SpaceX building the company’s Insider Threat program from the ground up as part of the cybersecurity team preparing for crewed flights of the Dragon spacecraft and nascent Starship and Starlink programs. Following SpaceX, Clemente went on to Anduril Industries where she built the company’s Insider Threat and Counterintelligence (CI) programs from scratch, leading teams of engineers and analysts implementing advanced cybersecurity controls to mitigate espionage and other threats to Anduril’s employees, weapons and artificial intelligence systems.

Carlos Mas, Co-founder & CTO

Carlos Mas is the CTO and co-founder of Wraithwatch, the company combatting AI-powered cyber weaponry. Prior, Mas was Principal Security Engineer for 5+ years at SpaceX, where he built complex authentication, access control, and attack prevention architectures to protect Falcon 9, Dragon, and Starship spacecraft from attackers ranging from opportunistic intruders to nation-state adversaries. Prior to SpaceX, Mas worked at Google and Morgan Stanley where he was responsible for authentication engineering, cybersecurity operations, and attack detection.
