Prelude Raises $5.2M in Seed Funding

Prelude

Prelude, a NYC-based provider of an AI-powered supply chain solution for cannabis ecosystem, raised $5.2M in Seed funding.

The round was led by Rackhouse Ventures and Casa Verde.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.

Co-Founded by Michael E. Murphy and Andrew Copp, Prelude provides a supply chain solution for the cannabis industry purpose-built to reduce out of stocks and overstocks at dispensaries in order to improve sales, profitability and cash flow. While the company is currently focused on unlocking value for the industry’s retail layer – by helping dispensaries decide which products to buy and in what quantities in order to optimize inventory assortments and associated administrative costs – it plans to create the same value across the entire supply chain; from seed to sale and every step in between.
