NTT DATA Business Solutions, a Bielefeld, Germany-based group company of NTT DATA and a global strategic partner of SAP, acquired Sapphire, a London, UK-based provider of digital operations software and services.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
With the acquisition, NTT DATA Business Solutions will solidify its leadership in the SAP midmarket sector and its plans to stand out as both a provider in the SAP SI market for major clients and an advanced digital operations solutions provider to mid-market customers. With the acquisition, more than 1,200 existing customers with an average 7-year relationship with Sapphire will move to the NTT/NTT DATA Group.
Led by CEO Vince De Luca, Sapphire is a provider of digital operations software and services to primarily mid-market customers in the US and UK markets through its partnerships with SAP, ServiceNow, Infor SunSystems, HxGN and AWS. The company employs around 420 professionals. With operations spanning the UK and US, they are supported by dedicated teams in nations such as India, Philippines, South Africa, Argentina, and Lebanon.
