VisionAI, a Bielefeld, Germany-based startup that uses AI to enhance e-commerce merchants’ cross-selling, raised €5m in seed funding.
The round was led by HV Capital, with participation from Christian Reber, Niklas Jansen, Oliver Flaskämper, Philipp Westermeyer with OMR X, Kai Furler, among others.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
Co-founded by Berkan Cinar, Melvin Schwarz, and Julian Meyer, VisionAI provides an AI powered platform that allows e-commerce merchants to increase cross-selling opportunities via a suite of plugins for Shopware 5/6 and Shopify.
The company currently serves over global customers including New Balance and Alpha Industries, among the others.
