Purpose Green Raises €3.3m in Funding

Purpose Green, a Berlin, Germany-based climate technology company, raised €3.3M in funding.

The round was led by Speedinvest and Atlantic Labs.

The company intends to use the funds to strengthen its team with ESG, climate and building experts, expand its presence in Germany, and continuously develop its service and support offering.

Led by Lucas Christel, Co-Founder & Managing Director Operations, Purpose Green provides a platform for energy retrofits and long-term ESG management that enables the transformation of multi-family, residential, commercial and office properties into green, sustainable buildings. The platform provides owners, property managers and asset managers / institutional funds with tools to simplify the entire decarbonization process as a one-stop-shop offering the energy inventory, refurbishment roadmap (iSFP), subsidy procurement (BAFA/KfW/local offers), energy implementation, structural CAPEX project management as well as long-term ESG management and reporting from a single source.

The process begins with the recording of all relevant property master data of a building and the internal creation of a digital 3D twin, so that owners receive a complete overview of the energy status of their property. Based on this, Purpose Green energy consultants, construction managers and construction experts ensure that the necessary energy-related construction and renovation measures are planned and carried out independently. In this way, the system serves as a “one-stop-shop” for the decarbonization of the building sector.
