Precision Optical Technologies, a NYC-based company which specializes in optical networking technologies, acquired Opticonx, a Putnam, CT-based manufacturer of fiber optic cabling components and systems.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
With the acquisition, Precision OT will consolidate its position in the optical networking market and enhance its capabilities to serve a wider range of applications.
Opticonx is a manufacturer of both standard and custom, fiber optic cabling components and systems. Its products reflect the company’s over 26 years of design, and quality manufacturing experience in the assembly of standard and complex fiber optic cable, furcation tubing, cable assemblies and connectivity solutions.
Led by David Halladay, President and CEO, Precision OT is a systems integration company focused on end-to-end optical networking solutions, network design services and product development advancements.
