MeetingPackage, a Espoo, Finland-based sales automation software provider, raised $4.6M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Scale Capital.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth in Europe and to facilitate expansion into the North American market.
Led by CEO Joonas Ahola, MeetingPackage provides a platform that allows hotels and event venues to sell, operate and manage their Meetings & Events spaces. Products include Venue & Sales Management Software, an online Booking Engine and a Meetings & Events specific Channel Manager. The self-service software features twelve different language versions and integrates with venues’ existing Property Management, Sales & Catering and back-office solutions.
Hotel chains, individual hotels, restaurants, co-working spaces, event spaces, TMCs, OTAs and event marketplaces already use the platform.
