Heywood Pension Technologies, a UK based provider of pension management solutions, acquired Idiom Limited, an Auckland, New Zealand-based software company specialising in market leading business rules software and data management solutions.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Led by Mark Norton, CEO and Founder, Idiom develops and licenses the ‘Idiom Decision Manager’, a business rules engine that has been proven at scale in complex commercial projects worldwide. The company also offers a large supporting suite of pre-configured data migration and data management tools and linked applications that operate natively on all major cloud platforms.
Idiom has become a wholly owned subsidiary of Heywood. It will continue to operate its business with its existing staff and will continue to serve customers worldwide from its New Zealand base.
The company will continue to grow and extend its software capabilities by providing solutions for clients worldwide in insurance, pensions, financial services, health and government.
