DataCore Acquires Workflow Intelligence Nexus

DataCore, a Fort Lauderdale, FL-based software-defined storage company, acquired Workflow Intelligence Nexus, an Arcadia, CA-based workflow services and software firm.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

Acquiring WIN extends DataCore’s Perifery™ business unit, which specializes in managing data across the core to the cloud and edge for high-growth markets, including media and entertainment and healthcare.

Led by Jason Perr, CEO, Workflow Intelligence Nexus, commonly known as WIN, provides media-centric workflow automation solutions. It is committed to delivering software solutions that help businesses optimize efficiency by automating repetitive tasks. WIN has pioneered tools integrated with media asset management systems to automate over 400 workflows that once were done manually.
