Cirdan Raises £2.3M in Funding

Cirdan Imaging, a Lisburn, Northern Ireland, UK- based digital pathology company, raised £2.3M in funding.

The round was led by Kernel Capital through the Bank of Ireland Kernel Capital Growth Fund (NI). Other investors included Clarendon Fund Managers and private investors. 

The company intends to use the funds to onboard new customers to accelerate operational expansion.

Led by Stephen Dunniece, Cirdan Imaging is a provider of diagnostic digital health and imaging solutions that enhance and speed up patient clinical pathways and pathology laboratory work. The Cirdan platform, which includes specimen imaging solutions, patient and clinician apps as well as the Laboratory information system, collects critical information in a lean and fast way, to help reduce the time taken for diagnosis and provide new insights into healthcare data. The platform has been shown to improve efficiency and agility, provide greater control and visibility, and integrate with digital pathology and AI.   Headquartered in the UK, with offices in North America and Australia, the company is experiencing a period of rapid growth which is expected to continue with the addition of new innovative products and new international markets.  Cirdan serves clients in over 150 laboratories and hospitals across 20 countries and 6 continents.
