CentML Raises $27M in Funding

CentML, a Toronto, Canada-based provider of a software platform that improves the performance and cost of deploying ML models, raised $27M in funding.

The round was led by Gradient Ventures, Google’s AI-focused venture fund, with participation from Radical Ventures, NVIDIA, Deloitte Ventures, and Thomson Reuters Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Founded in 2022 under the leadership of CEO Gennady Pekhimenko, a renowned expert in ML systems and a team of co-founders with expertise obtained at companies like Amazon, Google, NVIDIA, and IBM, CentML provides a software platform that allows clients to optimize AI models for peak performance and cost-efficiency. Within its platform, users can fine-tune algorithms, pinpoint inefficiencies, and access real-time analytics.
