Tresmares, an independent private capital fund manager, provided the acquisition financing to support Lexana Capital in acquiring a majority stake in Jaama, a Tamworth, UK-based provider of fleet management software.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Lexana, backed by a group of investors and led by Andrew Holgate, who will become the new CEO of Jaama, has now acquired a majority stake in Jaama, and founder Jason Francis will remain as significant shareholder and provide operational and strategic assistance during the ownership transition period.
Jaama is a UK fleet management software provider. Its main product is Key2, a fully integrated cloud-based vehicle, asset and driver management solution that helps fleet managers to control costs, comply with regulatory requirements and optimise fleet performance. The company employs c. 120 people and follows a SaaS model, providing high visibility on revenues.
