Sequense Receives Investment from Alabama Futures Fund

Sequense, an Austin, TX-based provider of a workflow automation software platform, received an investment from Alabama Futures Fund.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

In connection with the investment from AFF, Sequense and its CEO, Kimber Falkinburg, will relocate the company’s headquarters to Birmingham, Alabama.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.

Led by Kimber Falkinburg, CEO, Sequense provides industry-specific automation for travel advisors that allows users to elevate their business and capture more of the travel market. By entering a few key data points, the software organizes hundreds of tasks by stage of workflow and work type. The platform provides visibility for each advisor on outstanding tasks to be completed utilizing a project management tool.
