Measurlabs, a Helsinki, Finland-based startup offering laboratory analysis and testing services that help researchers, quality assurance, and R&D professionals get the tests they need, raised €2.5m in seed funding.
The round was led by VentureFriends and joined by existing investors Lifeline Ventures, Tesi, and Curus.
The company intends to use the funds to scale its operations across Europe and further develop its logistics and purchasing platform.
Founded in 2017 by two PhD students, Teemu Myllymäki and Kalle Lagerblom, Measurlabs is a laboratory analysis and testing service provider that helps researchers, quality assurance, and R&D professionals get the tests they need. The team consists of experts in different fields, holding 7 PhDs, as well as other university degrees. Its online platform combines the services of 900+ laboratories, enabling companies to obtain all the required tests in one place, get the support they need, and save money on analysis costs.
After building a customer base in Finland during its first years, Measurlabs has already gained international traction, with customers from close to 40 countries Its clients include Sulapac, Woodio and Kone.
