HPNow Closes €14M Funding Round

HPNow, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based clean water and sanitation company, raised €14M in funding.

The round was led by The Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO) together with Novo Holdings. Other investors included MatiTech, Evonik Venture Capital and AP Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to scale up its marketing, sales, technical support and production capacity, in order to address market demand.

Led by CEO Ziv Gottesfeld, HPNow specializes in clean water and sanitation through its range of on-site, autonomous, safe, and sustainable ultra-pure hydrogen peroxide generation solutions. With applications across agriculture, process water, and the food and beverage sectors, the solutions can further be utilized towards the breakdown of hazardous micro-pollutants in drinking water originating from pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and O&G industries.

The company, which was spun out of the Danish Technical University (DTU) in 2015, operates across Europe, the Americas and Asia.
