Ecopol, a Chietina Uzzanese, Italy-based developer and producer of biodegradable films and delivery systems, received an investment from affiliates of SK Capital Partners.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to drive its next phase of growth.
Led by CEO Mauro Carbone, Ecopol is a global producer of water-soluble and biodegradable films. Its delivery systems for unit-dose applications allow brands to reduce CO2 emissions and the usage of water and virgin plastic throughout their supply chains. The company operates production campuses in Italy and the United States, providing high level of service, technical support and innovation partnership to its worldwide customer base.
The Board of Directors includes Mauro Carbone, CEO, Stephen d’Incelli, Deal Lead and Managing Director at SK Capital; andJosh Lieberman, Principal at SK Capital.
