Crediverso Raises Additional $3.5M in Funding

Crediverso, a Los Angeles, CA-based Spanish and English language consumer technology company providing financial and educational resources to underserved communities, raised additional $3.5M in funding.

The round, which brought the total amount to $6.6M, was led by Torch Capital and Gaingels, with participation from earlier investors Bessemer Venture Partners and Act One Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.

Led by CEO and Founder Charlie Hernandez, Crediverso provides an Hispanic-owned and operated technology platform offering legal and financial tools and educational resources for underserved and under-resourced communities. It helps consumers make informed professional decisions by providing access to free, unbiased, and easy to understand information in both English and Spanish about financial and legal products. Crediverso includes My Pocket Lawyer, a new consumer tech legal tool that simplifies and democratizes access to legal resources and empowers individuals, small businesses, and freelancers to navigate complex legal issues, as well as a Learning Center, a large online library of English and Spanish financial educational resources.
