Udenz, a Dubai, UAE-base digital dental health platform, closed a $5m Series A funding round.
The round, backed by a Performance Guarantee, was led by Hakeem Capital Holding, Techcelerate Investments LLC, Inspira Management, and Dubai Business Corporation.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its business reach across the MENA region.
Launched in 2016 by Dr. Hisham Safadi, CEO, Udenz is a digital dental healthcare platform offering a comprehensive suite of 26 services. The system has handled over 100,000 search requests for a dentist and confirmed more than 5000 bookings. The database now comprises close to 8000 dentists from across the MENA region.
Udenz is headquartered in Umm Al Quwain, with operations in Casablanca and Muscat.
