Sureln, a Berlin, Germany-based Insurtech startup providing end-to-end insurance solutions, raised €4M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Pact VC. Other investors included Deck and angels such as Warrick Shanly, solo GP and founder of Koro Capital, Robin Haak, solo GP and founder of Robin Capital and multiple FinTech and InsurTech angels, like exited founder of Gabi insurance Vincenz Klemm. Previous investors of SureIn also include Arc, Sequoia Capital’s pre-seed and seed stage catalyst and Atlantic Labs.
The company intends to use the funds to further develop its platform, improve product automation across the lifecycle, and expand the range of insurance products to healthcare and pension in existing and new verticals such as professional services and startups.
Led by CEO Daniel Dierkes, SureIn is offering SMBs tailored policies that automatically adapt in accordance with changing risk profiles to ensure their protection at all times, with third-party data and insurance carrier integrations. The company developed a proprietary platform that accompanies customers throughout their life cycle with its end-to-end insurance infrastructure specifically designed for SMB needs.
