Jabbr Closes USD750K Funding Round

Jabbr

Jabbr, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based provider of computer-vision AI system designed for combat sports, raised USD750K in funding.

Backers included PreSeed Ventures, Accelerace, and angels.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Founded by Allan Svejstrup and Elias Obeid, Jabbr has developed technology to improve the UX of combat sports. The company has developed a computer vision AI system called DeepStrike, which can analyze the performance of athletes in fights and sparring sessions and instantly generate analytical statistics on 50 different parameters to help determine points of strengths and weaknesses in a fighter’s game. It also automatically generates individual highlight videos and can even convert the output of static cameras into something resembling a professional TV production.

The company expects to launch their public MVP during early September this year.
