In-Seam Raises $2M in Pre-Seed Funding

In-Seam, a New York shopping platform for stylists, personal shoppers and department store associates, raised $2m in pre-seed funding. 

The round was led by Far Out VC.

The company, which has raised a total of $7.8m to date, intends to use the capital to expand operations and its development efforts.

Founded by Ann Wehren, CEO, In-Seam provides a platform that helps personal shoppers, stylists, and sales personnel), who’s personal relationships account for the majority of luxury fashion sales, to service their clients. The platform gives them access to the best products for their clients through a streamlined UI, curated network of luxury designers, and consignments, free shipping, and commissions.

The company is currently working with top luxury brands including Dior, Khaite, Ganni, Lapointe, Rosetta Getty, Adam Lippes, Brandon Maxwell, Altuzarra, Rosie Assoulin, Bibi van der Velden; and top personal shoppers and stylists across the US.

Its 100+ designer partners include Dior, The Row, Khaite, Altuzarra, Brandon Maxwell, Monse, Rosetta Getty, Rosie Assoulin, Cecilie Bahnsen, Markarian, Bibi van der Velden, Charlotte Chesnais, Sea, Cara Cara, Ciao Lucia, Ganni, Dover St. Market, vintage, fine jewelry, timepieces and more.
