Helm.ai Raises $55M in Series C Funding

Helm.ai, a Menlo Park, CA-based provider of AI software for autonomous driving and automation of robotics, raised $55M in Series C funding.

The round, which brought the total amount to $102M, was led by Freeman Group and also included investments from ACVC Partners, Amplo, Honda Motor, Goodyear Ventures, and Sungwoo Hitech.

The company intends to use the funds for R&D, productization of its self-driving technologies, and to further execute on commercial engagements with customers and partners in the automotive and robotics sectors.

Founded in November 2016 and led by CEO Vlad Voroninski, Helm.ai is building AI software for high-end ADAS, L4 autonomous driving and robotics.
