Fieldwork Robotics Raises £1.5M in Funding

Fieldwork Robotics, a Cambridge, UK-based company developing harvesting tools for berry farms, raised £1.5M in funding.

Backers included Elbow Beach Capital, with Frontier IP, a family office and other existing investors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.

Led by CEO David Fulton, Fieldwork Robotics has developed a raspberry-picking robot equipped with precision sensors, advanced algorithms, and four picking arms, to navigate raspberry fields with efficiency and accuracy, identifying and harvesting ripe berries with precision.

The University of Plymouth spin-out has worked with Bosch to create its robot, which is called Alpha.
