Teradata (NYSE: TDC), a San Diego, CA-based provider of a multi-cloud data platform for enterprise analytics, acquired Stemma, a provider of a cloud-native, managed, data catalog solution.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
With the acquisition, Teradata will add AI technology and talent to accelerate analytics value for customers.
Founded in 2020, Stemma leverages AI and machine learning to enable users to discover, trust, and use their data and metadata effectively. The solution was engineered to provide grade security, enhanced ease of use data search capabilities, and automated data intelligence.
