Helpful, a Cambridge, MA-based provider of an family caregiver management app, raised $7.5m in seed funding.
The round was led by Redesign Health.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.
Led by CEO Wes Donohoe, Helpful provides an app for caregivers to access 1) insurance benefits, clarifying the types of services covered, deductibles, co-pays, and how to redeem them, 2) medications, to eliminate paperwork, multiple logins and spreadsheets, and 3) professional resources to enhance their skills into a single platform.
