HealthBird, a Miami, FL-based AI-InsurTech startup, received an investment from Ross Berman and Randall Winn.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to add new users and drive more sales through its platform for end consumers to shop and buy health insurance.
Led by CEO Ariel Dominguez, and COO Irena Tigranyan, HealthBird is using data analytics, AI, and other advanced technology to streamline how people browse, compare and purchase health insurance. Through its desktop version and mobile app available on the App Store and Google Play, the company helps health consumers to make an efficient use of their insurance, assisting them as they navigate and extract the value that covers can offer.
HealthBird focuses on individuals aged from 26 to 64 who do not have health insurance provided by the company they work for, or from a family member.
