Eyeball Games, a Singapore-based game studio, raised USD1.5M in Pre-Seed funding.
The round was led by White Star Capital, with participation from Polygon Ventures, Ocular and Great South Gate Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Founded in 2022 by the creators of 8 Ball Pool and led by Jonathan Ivarsson, CEO, Eyeball Games is a game studio developing Eyeball Pool, a pool shooter title that will come packed with physics, desirable collectables and a new take on game play. It will be released in phases on Immutable’s zkEVM chain (powered by Polygon). That starts with a web-based title that’s exclusively available for holders of Eyeball Pool early-access pass NFTs — called Balldroids. They are planning a full launch on mobile for all gamers in Q1 2024 — after which the NFTs will convert into game starter packs with exclusive and unique items.
