BusRight Raises $7M in Series A Funding

BusRight, a New York-based provider of school bus technology, raised $7M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Las Olas Venture Capital with participation from Ubiquity Ventures, Underscore VC, Long Journey Ventures, SilverCircle, Automotive Ventures, Alumni Ventures, CreativeCo Capital, and angel investors.

The company intends to use the funds to double its employee headcount, accelerate its product development and expand its customer base among U.S. K-12 education transportation systems.

Led by CEO Keith Corso, and CPO Phil Dunn, BusRight partners with educators, families and transportation directors across the U.S. to ensure children get to and from school safely and efficiently. The company’s proprietary technology includes routing software, real-time GPS, dynamic driver navigation via military-grade tablets and a bus tracking app for parents.

The company is present in 23 states, including Native American reservations such as Navajo Nation in Arizona and military bases in upstate New York
