Airvet, a Los Angeles, CA-based pet telehealth company, raised $18M in Series B funding.
The round was led by Mountain Group Partners, with participation from Canvas Ventures, Headline, Burst Capital, Bob Antin, Founder and xCEO of VCA Animal Hospitals. Byron Smith, Managing Director at Mountain Group Partners, will join the Company’s Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to scale and support early traction within employee benefits and enterprise partnership channels.
Led by CEO Brandon Werber, and President Dan Lieberman, Airvet provides a pet telemedicine app across the US and Canada, serving over 250,000+ pet families. The company provides 24/7 access to video visits and chats with thousands of licensed veterinarians and pet care providers, delivered as an employee benefit to companies like Adobe, Ceridian and Rexford Industrial, among others.
