Unbabel Acquires Bablic

Unbabel, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an AI-powered Language Operations (LangOps) platform, acquired Bablic, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based provider of a cloud-based solution supporting all localization and translation management requirements of websites and web applications.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

By using Bablic’s website translation capabilities coupled with Unbabel’s Quality Estimation framework, Unbabel customers will be able to easily determine if there are errors and ensure websites are customer ready.

Led by Gabriele Manasse, Founder & CEO, Bablic was enables customers to maximize SEO while controlling localized content with no coding necessary. Its solutions also allow customers to organically grow international traffic, making web updates in real-time with the ability to customize translation preferences. The company works with leading brands such as Rogue, Colgate, National Geographic, and more to increase accessibility globally to website localization.
