Source.ag Raises $4M in Additional Funding

Source.ag, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based AI provider for greenhouse growers to expand their business, raised $4M in additional funding.

The company has received $2M in additional funding from SK networks, through its US investment corporation, Hico Capital, and a further $2M from existing investor MIT-affiliated E14 fund. Earlier this year, Source.ag announced it had closed $23M in its Series A funding round led by Astanor Ventures, Acre Venture Partners, and several of the Netherlands’ leading greenhouse operators. With this latest round of investment, the total amount raised in the Series A funding now stands at $27M.

With this latest round of investment, which brought the total amount to $27M, Source.ag will continue to introduce more products.  

Led by CEO Rien Kamman, Source.ag provides an AI technology that empowers growers worldwide to accelerate their growth and operate their facilities efficiently, resulting in increased vegetable yields and more sustainable practices. The company focuses on the largest global fresh vegetable segments such as tomatoes and peppers, with plans to serve all fruit and vegetable growers.
