Parfin, a London, UK- and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil-based provider of compliant Web3 infrastructure services to financial institutions in Latin America, received an investment from Accenture Ventures.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate institutional Web3 adoption through solutions that simplify access to the ecosystem.

Led by CEO Marcos Viriato, Parfin is a provider of a Web3 infrastructure platform for custody, trading, tokenization, and digital asset management to Latin American clients, ranging from banks to crypto-native companies. The company is currently developing Parchain, a permissioned blockchain technology that is designed to enable regulated entities to participate in decentralized finance (DeFi) and asset tokenization. This technology enables financial institutions to participate in this new digital economy and is positioned to play a role in broadening the scope of the Digital Real, Brazil’s central bank digital currency.

Parfin has also joined Accenture Ventures’ Project Spotlight, an engagement and investment program focused on investing in companies that create or apply disruptive enterprise technologies.
