Octave Raises $52M in Series C Funding

Octave, a San Francisco, CA-based company which specializes in outcomes-focused behavioral health care, raised $52M in Series C funding.

The round, which brought total funding to $86m, was led by Cigna Ventures, Novo Holdings, and Avidity Partners, joined by existing investors Health Velocity Capital, Greycroft Partners, Felicis Ventures, Company Ventures, and Obvious Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to drive the national expansion of its evidence-based, in-network therapy services, as well as to release new technology products to serve payer and provider partners.

Led by CEO Sandeep Acharya, CEO, Octave is a modern behavioral health practice operating with in-person and virtual clinics. The company offers personalized care plans that can include individual, couples, and family therapy, while pioneering relationships with payers to make care more affordable through insurance.

Launched in 2018, Octave now serves seven states: California, Connecticut, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Texas, and Washington, D.C., and aims to expand to more regions later this year and all 50 states in 2024,
