Beyond Music, a Seoul, South Korea-based music investment firm, raised $170M in funding.
The round was led by Praxis Capital, joined by LPs in Asia.
The firm intends to use the funds to acquire rights to evergreen songs and further establish its financial strength and deal-closing ability for music rights holders.
Founded in 2021 by CEO Jangwon Lee and KT Park, Beyond Music is a music rights investment and management company that manages nearly $400M of AUM including rights of over 27,000 songs which include some of the biggest hits of all time in Asia.
