VMG Health, a Dallas, TX-based healthcare strategy and transaction advisory firm, acquired BSM Consulting, a Reno, NV- and Phoenix, AZ-based healthcare consulting firm.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The acquisition brought together BSM’s reputation of business management consulting and operational solutions and VMG Health’s expertise in healthcare transactions, compliance, and physician alignment. BSM adds new services, including subscription-based membership programs, recruitment, and leadership development resources that will advance VMG Health’s commitment to providing a broader array of solutions to meet the needs of its clients.
Founded in 1978 by Bruce Maller, BSM Consulting provides practice management consulting and compliance expertise to clients in ophthalmology and medical aesthetic specialties, in addition to ambulatory surgery centers through its Progressive Surgical Solutions division. Its customized consulting services are complemented by a suite of business management tools and an online learning platform.
