Visual Layer Raises $7M in Seed Funding

Visual Layer

Visual Layer, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based visual data management platform provider, raised $7M in Seed funding.

Bakers included Madrona and Insight Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to curate the massive sets of visual data used to train, test, and fine-tune generative AI models.

Co-founded by founders Danny Bickson and Amir Alush, Visual Layer leverages the open source fastdup package, created by the founding team, which has a community of 200,000 early users, to provide a platform that manage the massive sets of visual data used to train, test, and fine-tune generative AI models. The managed service curates and “cleans” the data, enabling scientists and ML practitioners to produce higher-quality models and results.
