Tenzo, a London, UK-based provider of an AI-powered restaurant PerformanceOps platform, raised $5M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Amadeus Capital Partners and S28 Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts to invest further in deep learning capabilities.

Tenzo is a provider of a Restaurant PerformanceOps platform that uses AI to help restaurants focus on improving their performance in order to optimize efficiency and increase revenue. It brings together data from the user’s tech stack in real-time, from POS to inventory management, from review platforms to labour schedulers, to enable collaboration between team members, predict sales, improve performance, hit KPIs as well as accurately know what that means for labour and inventory.

Now used by more than 1,500 restaurants worldwide, such as Nando’s, TGI Fridays, and Vapiano brands, Tenzo ingests massive amounts of data in real time using a proprietary Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) engine, then leverages deep learning to make intelligent operational recommendations.
