Range Raises $12M in Series A Funding

Range, a Washington, DC-based provider of an AI WealthTech platform, raised $12M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Gradient Ventures, Google’s AI-focused venture fund. Backers also included Expa, Red Sea Ventures, 8-bit Capital, and individuals Randy Reddig, Adrian Aoun, Severin Hacker, and Dan Lewis. In conjunction with the funding, Darian Shirazi, General Partner at Gradient Ventures, joined Range’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to grow the product and engineering teams to accelerate offerings to its customers, and to integrate their wealth management tools with various AI technologies to automate aspects of wealth and tax planning.

Founded in 2021 by Fahad Hassan and David Cusatis, Range provides a wealth management platform featuring tools powered by proprietary AI technology and aided by a team of licensed financial advisors to optimize investment services, tax planning, estate planning, retirement planning and insurance needs.
