True Anomaly, a Colorado Springs, CO-based space security and sustainability company, raised $17M in Series A funding.

The round, which brought the total amount to $30M, was led by Eclipse in partnership with Riot Ventures, Champion Hill Ventures, Space.VC, and Narya.

Founded in early 2022 and led by CEO Even Rogers, True Anomaly delivers an integrated technology platform with satellite, navigation, and data-capture technologies designed to provide security for the space market. It combines training and simulation tools, spacecraft manufacturing infrastructure and autonomy systems for the space security and sustainability.

In under a year, the company created its first spacecraft, the Jackal Autonomous Orbital Pursuit vehicle, opened a 35,000 square foot factory in Denver, and hired 57 employees.

The company intends to use the funds to validate the technical abilities and operational capabilities of the Jackal and make the necessary investments to scale production later this year.

True Anomaly works with Department of Defense, as well as the commercial space market with space mission and software solutions, ensuring the United States and its allies are equipped in space to protect life on Earth.
