Mooncard, a Paris, France-based expense management tech company, raised €37m in Series C funding round.
The round was led by Orange Ventures and Portage with participation from Blackfin Capital Partners, Partech Partners, Aglaé Ventures, and Raise Ventures.
The company, which has raised over $75m to date, intends to use to funds to expand operations and its business reach across Europe.
Led by CEO Pierre-Yves Roizot, Mooncard provides SaaS based expense management solutions for companies of all sizes. The solution simplifies the daily life of employees by automating expense reports with smart payment cards linked to accounting and management software. Secure and configurable, the company’s payment card works for all company expenses online or in person anywhere in the world thanks to the VISA network, Allianz insurance is included as standard.
Present in France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands, Mooncard serves over 4,500 companies including AirFrance, Kitsuné, and JDC, as well as public organizations such as the French Government.
