Elastic Path, a Boston, MA-based company focused on composable commerce movement, acquired Unstack, a Boston, MA-based frontend-as-a-service company.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

With the acquisition, Elastic Path will provide merchandisers with a performant no-code frontend and the ability to launch a revenue-driving composable solution.

Unstack is a website and storefront development platform that enables ecommerce brands to rapidly build and manage composed, personalized, high-performance ecommerce experiences. The platform is a no-code visual editor, integration manager, and Frontend-as-a-Service (FaaS) that helps business teams and developers reduce the time it takes to execute their content, commerce, and marketing goals while maximizing while the team agility, insight and ROI.

Led by CEO Jamus Driscoll, Elastic Path provides headless commerce solutions for digitally-driven brands to rapidly build, deploy, and continuously optimize highly differentiated commerce experiences.
