Ansa, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of a digital wallet infrastructure platform for merchants, raised $5.4M in funding.
The round was led by Christina Melas-Kyriazi at Bain Capital Ventures with participation from Nimi Katragadda at Box Group, Nichole Wischoff at Wischoff Ventures, Cambrian Ventures, The Fintech Fund, and Susa Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach
Founded in 2022 by Sophia Goldberg and JT Cho, Ansa provides a fintech solution that enables enterprises to build embedded wallets to decrease payment costs, increase revenue, and drive customer loyalty. Its digital wallet solution is customizable for any business and reduces the card transaction fees of small payments.
Ansa is currently piloting with customers in the coffee and quick serve industries although their platform can support many verticals.
