Zenhub, a Vancouver, BC, Canada-based project management solution for software teams, raised $10m in Series A funding round.

The round was led by Yaletown Partners, with participation from BMO Capital Partners and existing investors BDC Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to expand the use of its project management platform beyond technical teams using GitHub.

Led by Tyler Gaffney, CEO, Zenhub provides a project management platform used to make software development a collaborative experience across the organization. To support its “plug-in” to “platform” evolution, the company is also announcing the launch of Zenhub Issues—a brand new issue management experience to enable internal and external stakeholders to create and collaborate on tasks with their technical teams.

Organizations can enjoy the following benefits:

  • Enhanced security.
  • Cost savings.
  • External collaboration with clients, customers, and contractors.
  • Tool consolidation without maintaining separate project and product management solutions for different internal teams.
