Tryp.com, an Odense, South Denmark-based flights and hotels included searching company, raised an undisclosed amount in Seed funding, at a valuation of €8.3M.
Backers included Jacob Gade, Jens Schumann, Ben Cavender, Next Commerce Accelerator (NCA), and Christoph Schepan, as well as previous investors Vækstfonden, Frederik Siesbye Halsted, Jeppe Vestergaard Frandsen, Ali Marvi and the Innovation Fund Denmark.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth, expand operations and its business reach.
Tryp.com provides a travel planning platform for planning trips from anywhere to everywhere. Its engine accesses thousands of flights, trains, buses and hotels in real-time, comparing prices, locations, and schedules to build the best possible trip for the users. All the itineraries will be presented in the shape of different packages, where users will be able to see the costs of transportation and accommodations.
The founding team includes Hélio Domingos, Inês Jorge, Tiago Martins, Sebastian Siig Nørgaard, André Sousa, and Victor Gram Thomsen.
