Sextant Stays Raises $14M in Series A Funding

Sextant Stays, a Miami, FL-based hospitality company, raised $14M in Series A funding and simultaneously rebranded to Roami.

The round, which brought the total funding to $29M, was led by Vigo Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to continue expansion across local markets and beyond.

Led by CEO Andreas King-Geovanis, CFO Iskander Karimov, and COO Brandreth Canaley, Roami is a hospitality brand that combines the professionalism of hotels and value of vacation rentals. On average, its spaces are six times larger than a typical hotel room, and are purposefully designed for urban, group travelling. By managing the entire building, the company has complete creative control to design a tech-enabled guest experience that inspires human connection.

The company had over $40M in revenue in 2022 and has now acquired new buildings in existing markets. It recently expanded to West Palm Beach, totaling its inventory to over 500 units across South Florida and New Orleans.
