Manufacture 2030 Raises £5M in Series A Funding

Manufacture 2030

Manufacture 2030, an Oxford, UK-based provider of a SaaS platform and support services to measure, manage and reduce their environmental impacts, cut costs, and reduce risks, raised £5M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Maven VCTs and Amati AIM VCT investing £3M and £2M respectively.

The company intends to use the funds:

  • to grow in key global markets, including the pharmaceutical, retail, automotive and consumer packaged goods, while expanding into selected new sectors,
  • to accelerate product development, adding new functionality to its proprietary software platform, and
  • to scale its go-to-market capacity across North America and continental Europe.

Led by CEO Martin Chilcott, M2030 provides a scalable SaaS platform and support services that enable suppliers to measure, manage and reduce their environmental impacts, cut costs, and reduce risks, all while helping their customers meet their climate goals. Its suite of tools and practice data enables suppliers to baseline waste, water and GHG emissions, at a site level, and then build and implement detailed reduction plans to achieve science-based net zero targets.

The platform currently supports suppliers in over 70 countries convened by more than 30 global supply chain programs, including those of Asda, Bayer, Ford, GSK, Reckitt, and Toyota.
